I waited in line
For God’s delights
At the local pastry shop
Got myself a cheese pie
A Quatro Fromaggi warm slice
And a little drinking yoghurt
The vendor there told me: “Good Job!”
“I thought so too, man!”
“I would’ve gotten the exact same thing, I swear.”
I told him to keep the change
And walked around aimlessly
Eating the pizza slice
A simple casual vice
I took a bite from the sunrise
And deemed myself
The ruler of the Universe
Time kept a rolling
The cigarette smoke
Kept a flowing
And the wayward ways
Were cast upon me
And the people of the sort
